NESWA is delighted to announce that our colleagues at the Yorkshire Urban Rural Teaching Partnership will be visiting the region on Tuesday 30th October to deliver a workshop around the role of a Practice Education Consultant as part of their innovative approach to Practice Education that has won many admirers and inspired some of our own partners when they delivered a presentation at the National Teaching Partnership Conference in Nottingham.
The aim of the workshop is to understand the following:
- What is the role of a Practice Education Consultant
- How can they bring about a sustained cultural change in approaches to Practice Education?
- How PECS are delivering outcomes and early impact within an accredited Teaching Partnership
- Explore some tools and approaches used to underpin excellence in Practice Learning e.g. PE Audits, Group Education Sessions and Student Caseload approaches
The session is taking place on Tuesday 30th October at The Sjovoll Centre, Framwellgate Moor, Co. Durham, 1-4pm.
