Here at NESWA, we continue to try and develop as many opportunities for social workers in the North East to learn and develop their skills, participate in discussion and share best practice.
A lot of social workers have already took advantage of some of these opportunities such as the ongoing KSS Briefing Sessions which we are running at venues across the North East, as well as our fantastic PE Conference which is due to take place again next March.
To that end, make sure to visit our calendar for new dates and events popping up for 2019. New ones include a Regional Briefing session designed for ASYEs and Newly Qualified Social Workers (NQSWs). This builds on two sub-regional sessions organised by NESWA earlier this year and will reflect important issues such as KSS, models of supervision plus much more.
Also, we have a new NESWA Masterclass based around Alcohol Misuse in partnership with Teesside University. This will be the third in our Masterclass series building upon the success of the previous two discussing Older Persons in Prison and Co-Production – a Better Route to Impact?
