NESWA is supporting two workshops that are being ran in the region regarding the development of a “POD” model of Practice Education.
The session will be ran by Jackie Simms and Sharon Davey from Middlesbrough Council who have helped to pioneer the system to great effect and have been commissioned by NESWA to develop further over the coming months.
The aim of the sessions are to introduce the model and consider what is required to implement the model in your organisation.
By the end of the session, we hope that the following objectives will have been achieved:
• To understand the Roles and Responsibilities of the partners.
• To understand the expectations for assessment and supervision.
• To utilise the tools for supervision in the “POD Pack”
The two sessions are due to run on the following dates and times:
Thursday 20th September – 3:00-4:30pm Tuesday 2nd October – 10:00-11:30am
