Darlington Borough Council is an active stakeholder in the North East Social Work Alliance (NESWA). Through our strong links with Teaching Partnerships, supporting students to gain placement experience in our experienced and innovative Social Work Teams across Children and Adults Services, to our strong involvement in regional initiatives and groups.
NESWA has also helped Darlington in strengthening our Practice Educator process, supporting our x3 year plan/programme and ensuring that the role flourishes across teams.
