Practice Educators

NESWA is dedicated to work with practitioners actively helping to assess and grow the next generation of Social Workers in the North East

As a Teaching Partnership, NESWA is committed to helping to develop opportunities within Practice Education.

This means opportunities for both those who are interested in becoming a Practice Educator or Educators who are already actively engaging with new Social Workers.

Here at NESWA we want to promote the great work that Practice Educators do and will continue to work alongside our Partners to provide information on training, academic writing, changes in legislation and anything else relevant to the world of PE!

Finally, we are proud to announce that we will be holding a Practice Education Conference in 2018 & 2019 designed to raise the profile of Practice Educators and celebrate everyone and anyone associated with it.

If you are a Practice Educator or are thinking of getting into Practice Education, feel free to get in contact with us at info@neswa.org.uk or find us on Twitter @NESWA_UK

If you are a Practice Educator active in the North East of England, please take a moment to complete our Practice Education Survey!

Our survey has been designed in order to gain an insight into Practice Education in our region and the impact the role has upon Social Work Practitioners. We hope to use this information to gain some statistical data which we can use in conjunction with a NESWA project being ran by the Open University to determine what the Teaching Partnership can do to offer greater support to our Practice Educators.

To clarify, no personal data would be shared with any outside parties other than the employer identified in the survey. Your information is important to use and we promise to use it in a fair and transparent way.
